Augustus, 27 BC-AD 14. Cistophorus (Silver, 26 mm, 12.11 g, 12 h), Pergamum, circa 19-18 BC. IMP•IX•TR•PO V Bare head of Augustus to right. Rev. MART - VLTO The temple of Mars Ultor: circular, domed, tetrastyle temple set on five-tiered base and with signum within. RIC 507. RPC I 2220. Sutherland Group VII, 574 (this coin, O66/R38) = SNG von Aulock 6559. Nicely toned and with a portrait of fine style and an excellent pedigree. A few light marks, otherwise, good very fine.
